What is Regaine Foam?
Regaine for Men Foam is a remedy designed to address male pattern baldness, also known as androgenic alopecia—the most prevalent type of hair loss in men. This condition occurs in individuals whose hair follicles exhibit heightened sensitivity to the androgen hormone, leading to follicular shrinkage and hindering the normal growth of hair. Formulated with minoxidil, Regaine for Men is effective in both preventing additional hair loss and kickstarting hair regrowth. Clinical research indicates that approximately 60% of men reported experiencing hair regrowth after 48 weeks of consistent use of Regaine.
The active ingredient in Regaine Foam is 5% cutaneous foam minoxidil.
What is Regaine Foam used for?
Regaine Foam is used to promote hair growth in individuals experiencing male pattern baldness. It works by widening the blood vessels and opening potassium channels, which may lead to increased blood flow to hair follicles and stimulate hair growth.
Who can and cannot use Regaine Foam?
Men with male pattern hair loss (androgenic alopecia) seeking to initiate hair regrowth or deter additional hair loss should consider using Regaine for Men.
Women should refrain from using Regaine Extra Strength. Additionally, Regaine is not suitable for addressing hair loss resulting from alternative causes such as chemotherapy, head shaving, or total alopecia (complete loss of hair across the entire body). Avoid use if your scalp is inflamed or affected by another skin condition. Furthermore, concurrent use with other scalp creams, ointments, or lotions is not recommended. Lastly, do not apply under dressings or bandages.
How to apply Regaine Foam?
Ensure your hair is thoroughly dry before using Regaine for Men.
Administer a single 1ml dose to the affected area twice daily, using one of the provided applicators. Maintain a 12-hour interval between treatments and adhere to the recommended daily dosage of 2ml.
