Your Wegovy tablet 30-tablet package contains three blister cards (each containing ten tablets) and the patient information leaflet for the medicine.
What to look out for
Carefully inspect the carton and blister cards before use for signs of damage.
If you suspect your blister cards or tablets have been damaged, do not take the tablets and contact our Patient Care team.
How your tablets look may be different depending on the dose:

What to look out for
Carefully inspect your pen for any signs of damage before use. If you suspect it has been damaged, or the liquid medicine in the pen appears cloudy, discoloured, or has particles in it, do not use the pen and contact our Patient Care team.
Taking Wegovy tablets
Always take your medicine once daily, exactly as prescribed.
Take a single Wegovy tablet on an empty stomach after a recommended fasting period of at least 8 hours
Swallow the tablet whole - do not split, crush or chew - with a sip of water (up to 120 ml)
After taking the tablet wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking or taking other oral medicines
Do not take more than one tablet a day or combine tablets to make a higher dose.
If you miss a dose, skip it and take the next dose the following day. Do not take an extra tablet.
How to store tablets
Store your Wegovy tablets in the original package. There are no special temperature storage conditions but Wegovy tablets should be protected from light and moisture and kept out of the sight and reach of children.
The expiry date for your treatment can be found on the blister pack and carton after ‘EXP’ (the expiry date refers to the last day of that month). Do not use the medicine after the expiry date.
