Deirdre Burns

Executive Chairperson | Pharmacy2U Group

Deirdre’s extensive experience in business leadership, coupled with her pharmacy qualification makes her uniquely placed to help steer our business. As Chairperson, Deirdre helps to ensure that our objectives are achieved by overseeing the implementation of an impactful business strategy. The roles Deirdre has held include Managing Director (Boots Ireland), Supply Chain Director (Walgreens Boots Alliance) and Retail Director (EE). She has an impressive non-Executive portfolio working predominantly with London-based Private Equity companies in the TMT, healthcare, and pharmacy sectors.

Kevin Heath

Chief Executive Officer | Pharmacy2U Group

Kevin joined the Pharmacy2U group in 2022 following a successful career in leadership with the Walgreens Boots Alliance. Kevin brings extensive skills and experience in UK-based and international consumer pharmacy to the group. He has held positions within the Walgreens Boots Alliance including Commercial Trading Director, Vice President, and Executive Board Director. Prior to joining Pharmacy2U, Kevin served as a commercial and investment consultant for several brands and retailers.

Connie Cha

Managing Director | LloydsDirect

As Managing Director of LloydsDirect, Connie works closely with the rest of the leadership team to bring our patients and customers a ‘best of both’ approach as the two businesses combine to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions. Connie was instrumental in leading the LloydsDirect team to secure its B Corp status. With extensive experience in the finance sector, Connie also sits on the advisory board of a national program that supports UK entrepreneurs to make their business vision a reality through funding, coaching, and mentorship.

Gary Dannatt

Chief of Staff | Pharmacy2U Group

Gary holds the position of Chief of Staff after joining Pharmacy2U as Chief Operating Officer in July 2016. Gary is a chartered accountant with vast experience across a range of sectors, having worked in senior financial and operational roles for Ernst & Young, Citibank, and Oracle. Gary’s passion and expertise sits within venture capital backed businesses, having been a director of energy comparison site Simply Switch, which was sold to DMGT plc. in 2006.

Ana Ciubotaru

Chief Operations Officer | Pharmacy2U Group

Ana joins the leadership team as Chief Operating Officer after fulfilling a range of leadership roles at LloydsDirect, including Pharmacy Team Lead, Head of Fulfilment and Clinical Operations, and most recently Operations Director from 2021. Ana’s clinical background as a registered pharmacist, coupled with her diverse leadership skills, makes her uniquely qualified to play a key role in driving forward the vision and mission of Pharmacy2U.

Scott Fawcett

Chief Financial Officer | Pharmacy2U Group

Scott has extensive commercial finance experience, having held a senior role at global accountancy firm PWC for over 10 years. Before joining Pharmacy2U in 2020, Scott worked for national healthcare provider The Priory Group – overseeing forecasting and financial compliance for all subsidiaries within the group. As part of the Pharmacy2U leadership team, Scott works closely with the other senior managers to drive forward our growth and development.

Glyn Williams

Chief Marketing Officer | Pharmacy2U Group

As Chief Marketing Officer, Glyn heads up the marketing and communications team at Pharmacy2U. A key part of the leadership team, Glyn’s charged with turning our business vision and objectives into high-performance activity that drives measurable results. With a proven track record in marketing execution through senior roles at some of the UK’s biggest consumer brands, Glyn’s ideally placed to champion our acquisition and retention of patients and consumers across the group.

Laura Turnbull

Chief People Officer | Pharmacy2U Group

With over 15 years of experience in the health tech and retail sectors, most recently as People Director at LloydsDirect, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to the Executive team. Laura is most passionate about fostering a culture of inclusivity where our team feel able to be themselves and do their best work, and demonstrating that our People are our biggest asset. Having successfully led teams through periods of significant business change both in the UK and across the APAC region, Laura is well-versed in providing direction and stability to our teams in times of growth and acquisition.

Phil Day

Superintendent Pharmacist | Pharmacy2U Group

Phil assists Pharmacy2U’s patients with their questions and prescriptions on a daily basis. He joined Pharmacy2U in 2000 and has helped us develop into the UK’s largest NHS registered online pharmacy. He studied pharmacy at Nottingham University before working for Boots. In 2011 he completed a postgraduate qualification to become a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber. In 2013/14 he was the lead pharmacist in a University College London research study to assess the benefits of pharmacist advice for patients taking long term medicines. Phil Day is registered as a pharmacist in the UK with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). His registration number is 2043558. You can verify this registration on the GPhC website.
