Your Wegovy starter kit includes 1 multiple dose pre-filled Wegovy FlexTouch pen and 4 disposable NovoFine Plus needles, providing you with a 4-week supply of treatment.
Before using your pen for the first time
Read the Patient Leaflet provided with your pen or you can view it here.
Administering Wegovy
You can inject in the same body area each week, but make sure it is not in the same spot as used the last time. You may need help from someone else if you want to inject in your upper arm.
Avoid injecting into areas where the skin is tender, bruised, red, warm, or hard.
What to look out for
Carefully inspect your pen for any signs of damage before use. If you suspect it has been damaged, or the liquid medicine in the pen appears cloudy, discoloured, or has particles in it, do not use the pen and contact our Patient Care team.
