Phil Day is our Superintendent Pharmacist and has been with Pharmacy2U since 2000, playing a key role in the company’s growth into the UK’s largest NHS-registered online pharmacy. He currently oversees clinical compliance across the entire Pharmacy2U group, ensuring that the highest standards of patient safety and care are maintained.
Phil studied pharmacy at the University of Nottingham and began his career with Boots. In 2011, he became a qualified Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, allowing him to further contribute to clinical services and innovation.
Over the years, Phil has been closely involved in a wide range of pioneering projects, including the first pilots and ongoing development of the Electronic Prescription Service, as well as the establishment of remote vaccination clinics to improve access to care.
Phil is appointed by Pharmacy2U as a Director of the Company Chemists’ Association (CCA), and he also represents the CCA as a member of the Community Pharmacy England committee, helping to shape the future of community pharmacy across the country.
