Gaviscon Infant Sachets provide fast, soothing and long-lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion for your children. It is a popular over-the-counter medicine for treating gastric reflux.
What Causes Gastric Reflux?
Gastric Reflux is most likely caused by certain foods and drinks. However, it can be a symptom of other conditions as well as a side effect from certain medications.
How Does Gaviscon Infant Sachets Relieve Children of Gastric Reflux?
Gaviscon infant sachets are an oral powder which is suitable for children ages 1 to 2. It contains two main ingredients, sodium alginate and magnesium alginate. Both of these are known reflux suppressants.
These form a gel in the stomach when they come in contact with the stomach acid. This causes stomach contents to thicken and prevents reflux.
Who are these Gavison Infant Sachets Suitable for?
Gavison Infant Sachets should only be used for infants aged 1-2 years. You should not use this product if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use if you're using a thickening agent for feeding. If your infant is taking medication, please consult a doctor or healthcare provider before using Gavison Infant Sachets.
