LoviOne Tablet Levonorgestrel is an effective emergency contraceptive that should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse or if a contraceptive method has failed. It works by delaying ovulation, helping to reduce the risk of pregnancy. For best effectiveness, take the tablet within 12 hours, but no later than 72 hours (3 days). LoviOne does not require any special storage conditions.
Contains lactose.

Do not take if you are:

Pregnant or may be pregnant see leaflet for further details
Allergic to levonorgestrel or any of the other ingredients in LoviOne

Tell your pharmacist before taking if you:

- Are under 16 years of age- are breastfeeding

- Have used any of the following medication in the last 4 weeks as this can cause LoviOne to be less effective:

Barbiturates and other anti-epileptic medicines
Medicines used to treat tuberculosis medicines used in HIV infection
Medicines used to treat fungal infections
Herbal remedies containing St Johns Wort
