<h3>What is Doublebase Gel</h3>
<p>Doublebase Gel helps to relieve dry, chapped, itchy, red and sore skin associated with eczema and other types of dermatitis, psoriasis, elderly skin and ichthyosis. This soap substitute is specifically formulated to be non-foaming and fragrance-free. When added to water it will help to cleanse, soften, moisturise and protect your skin by locking in moisture and restoring your skin natural moisture levels. It also helps to prevent the skin from drying out and becoming irritated from ordinary soaps with foaming additives and fragrances. Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel will also prevent flare-ups of your particular skin condition.</p>

<h3>How to use Doublebase Gel</h3>
<p><strong>For maximum benefit you should apply the gel on a regular basis.</strong></p>
<p>Before using the 100 g bottle, turn the top of the pump dispenser anti-clockwise to unlock it. After unlocking, you will need to press down the pump dispenser several times to prime the pump before any gel is dispensed.</p>
<ul>
<li>Apply Doublebase Gel to the affected areas of the skin morning and night, or as often as required.</li>
<li>Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the gel across the skin in the same direction as hair growth like stroking a cat or dog. If necessary, allow time for any excess to soak in. Do not rub the skin vigorously.</li>
<li>This product can also be used before and after washing, showering or having a bath to help condition your skin and stop it from drying further.</li>
<li>If you are applying another treatment to the same areas of skin as Doublebase Dayleve Gel, try to avoid mixing the two products. This can be achieved by applying the treatments alternately, leaving sufficient time to allow the previous application to soak in.</li>

<h3>Precautions to consider before using Doublebase Gel</h3>
<ul>
<li>Do not use Doublebase Gel if you are allergic hypersensitive to isopropyl myristate, liquid paraffin or any of the other ingredients of Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel.</li>
<li>Do not smoke or go near naked flames - risk of severe burns. Fabric clothing, bedding, dressings etc that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Possible side effects</h3>
<p>Like all medicines, Doublebase Gel can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. However, if you notice anything unusual, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.</p>

<li>if your skin condition seems to look or feel worse.</li>
<li>if any of the side effects get serious, or you notice any other side effects not mentioned in the leaflet</li>
