The active ingredient is Codeine Phosphate and Paracetamol. Each tablet contains 30mg of Codeine Phosphate and 500mg of Paracetamol.

The other ingredients are Sodium Bicardonate, Anhydrous Citric Acid, Anhydrous Sodium Carbonate, Sorbitol Powder, Saccharin Sodium, Povidone, Dimeticone and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate.
Always take Solpadol exactly as your doctor has told you.

Adults and children over 12- the usual dose is 2 tablets taken together. Adults should wait at least 4 hours before taking another dose. Children aged 12 years and over should wait at least 6 hours before taking another dose. Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24 hour period. This medicine should not be taken for more than 3 days. If the pain does not improve talk to your doctor.

Solpadol should not be given to children below the age of 12 years
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Always read the enclosed leaflet. Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have severe asthma attacks or breathing problems, recently had a head injury, suffer from headaches, blurred vision, being sick, have had any operations recently or planning to have any, if you are an alcoholic, if you are breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor before taking if you have severe kidney or liver problems, if you have problems passing water, sensitive to Aspirin or on any other medication to treat inflammation. Do not exceed the stated dose.
