Each Erythrocin 250 tablet contains 250mg of the active ingredient Erythromycin. The other ingredients are Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose, Maize Starch, Povidone, Magnesium Hydroxide, Sorbic Acid, Polyethylene Glycol and Polacrilin Potassium.
The usual dose for adults and children over 8 years is: 1-2g daily in divided dose i.e: four to eight 250mg tablets daily or two to four 500mg tablets daily, taken just before or with meals or food. Continue the medicine until the course is completed or until your doctor tells you to stop.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Talk to your doctor before taking if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breast feeding. Also talk to your doctor before taking if you have any liver problems, suffer from myasthenia gravis or taking any other statins or any other medication.
