The active ingredient is Clonidine Hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 25mg.

The other ingredients are Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Amhydrous, Lactose Monohydrate, Maize Starch, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Povidone, Maize Starch Soluble, Indigo Carmine (E132), Magnesium Stearate, Sucrose, Talc, Acacia, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Macrogol, Carnauba Wax and White Beeswax.
Take Dixarit exactly as your doctor has told you. Take this medication by mouth. The usual starting dose is 50mg (two tablets), two times a day. If necessary after two weeks, your doctor may increase the dose to 75mg (three tablets), two times a day. Do not exceed the stated dose. Not recommended for children.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Take as directed by your doctor. Do not take Dixarit if you are pregnant or breast feeding, allergic to any of the ingredients, have a slow heart rate due to heart problems. Talk to your doctor before taking is you have Raynauds disease, heart or kidney problems, ever had depression, constipation, nerve disorder or taking any other medication. Dixart contains Lactose and Sucrose.
