The active ingredient is Melatonin. Each prolonged-release tablet contains 2mg Melatonin.
The other ingredients are Ammonio Methacrylate Copolymer type B, Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Lactose Monohydrate, Silica (Colloidal Anhydrous), Talc and Magnesium Stearate.

Always take the medication as directed by your doctor. The recommended dose is one Circadin tablet taken daily by mouth, after food 1-2 hours before bedtime. This dosage may be continued for up to 13 weeks. You should swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or cut in half.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Talk to your doctor before taking if you are taking any other medication. Talk to your doctor before taking if you suffer from liver or kidney problems, have an intolerance to some sugars, if you have been told you suffer from an autoimmune disease. Circadin can make you feel drowsy. Circadin can be less effective is you smoke. Do not take if you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant or breast feeding.
