 Tadalafil is a prescription medication for erectile dysfunction. It is a type of medication known as a PDE-5 inhibitor, and helps men to get an erection when they are unable to naturally.& ;

Tadalafil daily comes as 2.5 mg and 5 mg tablets.
Dose for erectile dysfunction: The usual dose of Tadalafil 2.5 mg for erectile dysfunction is & ;one tablet daily.
Your doctor may increase or decrease your dose, depending on how well it works and how often you take it.
The effects may last longer than 24 hours, so you're not recommended to take the 10 mg or 20 mg tablets every day.
For the tablet to work properly, you'll need to be sexually excited.
How to take it: Swallow your tablets whole with a drink of water or juice (but not grapefruit juice).
If you take too much: Taking too much Tadalafil can cause side effects, including:

<li>Dizziness</li>
<li>Indigestion</li>
<li>Stuffy nose</li>
<li>Changes to your vision (such as blurred vision)</li>

As with all medications, this drug may cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them. These effects are typically mild to moderate.
If you experience any of the following side effects, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately:
Allergic reactions, including rashes (uncommon). Chest pain - do not use nitrates but seek immediate medical assistance (uncommon). Priapism, a prolonged and possibly painful erection after taking Tadalafil (rare). If you have such an erection lasting continuously for more than 4 hours, contact a doctor immediately. Sudden loss of vision (rare). Other reported side effects include:

Does Tadalafil help with an enlarged prostate?& ; Tadalafil is also used by men who have benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Why is Tadalafil known as the 'weekend' pill? You might hear or see people referring to Tadalafil as the &lsquo;weekend&rsquo; pill. This is because the effects of Tadalafil can last up to 36 hours, giving you help with getting an erection across a 2.5-day period. Taken on a Friday afternoon/evening, the medication could take effect for the whole weekend, hence the nickname Tadalafil weekend pill.
Drug interactions with Tadalafil You will be unsuitable for Tadalafil if you are taking alpha-blockers (such as doxazosin or tamsulosin), nicorandil or nitrates, such as GTN spray or isosorbide mononitrate tablets to treat angina.
