The active ingredient in Caverject is Alprostadil. Each vial contains 20 micrograms of Alprostadil.

The other ingredients are Lactose Monohydrate, Sodium Citrate, a-cyclodextrine, Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Hydroxide.

The syringe contains Benzyl Alcohol (8.4 mg/ml) and Water for Injections. The antiseptic pads are soaked in Isopropyl Alcohol.
A doctor or nurse will show you how to use Caverject for at least the first time. Please read the leaflet contained in the box for full usage instructions.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have sickle cell anaemia, have an implant in your penis, have a penis which is scarred or not straight or if you have a tight foreskin. Speak to your doctor before using if you have a lung, chest or heart disorder, history of mental illness, an addiction or have had a mini stroke.

Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medication. Caverject contains Benzyl Alcohol which may cause allergic reactions. Tell your doctor immediately if your erection goes on for longer than 4 hours or you encounter paid in the penis.
