The active ingredients are Atovaquone and Proguanil Hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 250mg Atovaquone and 100mg Proguanil Hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are: Poloxamer 188, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Low-substituted Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Povidone K30, Sodium Starch Glycolate Type A, Silica Colloidal, Anhydrous, Magnesium Stearate.

The coating: Hypromellose, Titanium Dixoide (E171), Iron Oxide Red (E172), Macrogol 400, Macrogol 8000.
To Prevent Malaria the usual dose for adults and children weighing more than 40kgs is 1 tablet once a day. Start taking the tablet 1 day before travelling to an area which has malaria or on the day you arrive, continue taking it every day during your stay and then continue another 7 days after you return to a malaria free area. Take the full course for maximum protection.

To Treat Malaria the usual dose for adults is 4 tablets once a day for 3 days. For children weighting more than 11kg or more: 11-20kg take 1 tablet once a day for 3 days, 20-30kg take 2 tablets once a day for 3 days, 30-40kg take 3 tablets once a day for 3 days and over 40kg take 4 tablets.
