The active ingredient is Etoricoxib. Each film coated tablets contains 30,60,90 or 120mg of Etoricoxib.
The other ingredients: Core- Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate (Anhydrous), Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose. Tablet coating: Carnauba Wax, Lactose Monohydrate, Hypromellose, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Triacetin. The 30, 60 and 120mg tablets contain Yellow Ferric Oxide (E172, colouring agent) and Indigo Lake (E132, colouring agent).
The other ingredients: Core- Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate (Anhydrous), Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose. Tablet coating: Carnauba Wax, Lactose Monohydrate, Hypromellose, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Triacetin. The 30, 60 and 120mg tablets contain Yellow Ferric Oxide (E172, colouring agent) and Indigo Lake (E132, colouring agent).
Take Arcoxia tablets by mouth once a day and can be taken with or without food. Osteoarthritis recommended daily dose is 30mg increasing to 60mg if required. Rheumatoid arthrisis recommended daily dose is 90mg per day. Acute pain conditions as directed by your doctor.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have serious liver disease, heart disease or stomach ulcers, under the age of 16 years, if you have or ever had a heart attack or heart disease or if you have high blood pressure. Advise your doctor if you are taking any other form of medication. Do not give to children under the age of 16.
Arcoxia must not be taken during pregnancy or are planning to become pregnant. The effect of Arcoxia may be faster when taken without food. Arcoxia contains lactose.
