The active ingredient is Acetazolamide. Each tablet containing 250mg. The other ingredients: Dicalcium Phosphate, Corn Starch, Magnesium Stearate, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Povidone.

Usual dose for:
Glaucoma adult is 250-1000mg (1-4 tablets) every 24 hours.

Retention of fluid starting dose is 250-375mg (1-1.5 tablets) once daily in the morning.

Epilepsy 250-1000mg daily for adults and for children the dose will depend on their bodyweight. Dose should be no more than 750mg (3 tablets) per day.

Before starting to take Acetazolamide tablets your doctor may monitor your blood to check that the treatment is suitable for you.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take if you are allergic to Sulphonamides, Sulphonamide derivatives including Acetazolamide or any of the listed ingredients, if you have severe liver disease or kidney problems, you have a particular type of Glaucoma known as chronic non congestive angle closure, you have reduced function of the adrenal glands or you have low blood levels of sodium and or potassium or high blood levels of chlorine. Speak with your doctor before taking if you are on any other medication. Acetazolamide 250mg tablets should not be taken during pregnancy, think you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It may be taken during breast feeding. Acetazolamide may make you feel drowsy or confused so driving or operating machinery is not recommended.
