Melanie King joined Pharmacy2U in March 2015 as a Clinical Pharmacist and has been our Head of Digital Services since May 2024. The role sees her lead the team that delivers important services such as Pharmacy First, New Medicines, Contraception, and Discharge Medicines, while also supporting programmes like our Healthy Heart Study.
Holding a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Bradford, a large part of Melanie’s focus is to give people quick and easy access to Pharmacy2U’s expert pharmacists, allowing them to take greater control of their healthcare, get a better understanding of their medication, and take fewer trips to see doctors. She ensures that all our services comply with all relevant specifications and professional standards, while ensuring our patients have a great experience and our team members have the tools they need to make these services available and accessible to everyone.
