Karan Rana

Karan has worked with the team for almost 5 years, regularly leading and managing teams of clinicians including GPs, nurses and independent prescribing pharmacists (IPPs). He is currently a part of the core clinical team, reviewing guidelines to ensure they are up to date with best practice from a clinical and process point of view.

Karan has a background in education (as a visiting teacher practitioner at UCL school of pharmacy), community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, briefly within industry and across GP federation as a PCN/GP based pharmacist. His clinical interests are within pain management, neurology, rheumatology, and men’s health, though he’s always looking to broaden and develop his scope of practice.

Away from Online Doctor, Karan can either be found on a squash, tennis or badminton court, travelling or cooking.
