The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Community Pharmacy England (CPE) agree funding increase over two years
Today (31st March 2025), following a six-week consultation between DHSC and CPE, a new pharmacy funding deal has been confirmed that will benefit patients.

The integration of pharmacy-led services, such as blood pressure checks and access to contraception, highlights the vital role pharmacists play in supporting the NHS and improving patient outcomes. While this funding will provide much-needed relief, it is essential that ongoing investment and innovation continue to ensure the sustainability and accessibility of pharmacy services for all.”
