Pharmacy2U launches NEW dynamic prescription order tracking service

Pharmacy2U introduces a new dynamic order tracking service for its 800k active patients to track their prescription order from request to home delivery.

This new service, available on the website and on its mobile apps, will provide patients with a live medicine availability, dynamic estimated dispatch date through the six steps of the order journey and confirm the estimated delivery date/time once dispatched. The status updates for each step of the orders journey include

Stage 1: Awaiting GP approval

Stage 2: Prescription received

Stage 3: Clinical review

Stage 4: Packing

Stage 5: Order dispatched

Stage 6: Track delivery

The new service will empower patients to manage their prescription order in the event of a delay, including the ability to split multiple-item prescriptions or choose to take the prescription to a local pharmacy, whilst remaining a Pharmacy2U patient.

Pharmacy2U continues to use Royal Mail’s Tracked service, now available on for all prescription orders and, wherever possible, reduced packaging to allow for more letterbox deliveries.

Kevin Heath – CEO of Pharmacy2U comments, “We are always looking for ways to improve our customer experience for our patients. This new feature will give our patients full transparency of their order progress, flexibility on options should their order be delayed and is accessible across our website and app. We are delighted to launch a solution, that will help our patients take greater control of their healthcare and prescriptions and ultimately put the power back into their hands with the ability to track their medication at every possible stage in the journey”.
