Deliveries during the adverse weather

Due to the current high temperatures across the UK, parcel delivery networks report that they may experience some temporary disruption this week. This is affecting both Royal Mail and Evri services.

What this means for you:

If your order has already been dispatched:

  • Delivery may take a little longer than usual. Royal Mail or Evri will continue to keep you updated via email or SMS.

If your order has not yet been dispatched:

  • We are preparing your order as normal, but delivery may take longer once it has been handed over to Royal Mail or Evri. We’ll contact you when we dispatch it, and you’ll receive updates directly from the courier via email or SMS as usual.

  • Temperature-sensitive medicines requiring cold storage: to ensure these remain safe and effective, we have temporarily paused dispatch. Orders will be sent as soon as conditions are suitable, and we’ll contact you when we dispatch them, in the usual way. We expect this to be a short-term delay (up to 36 hours), and we will share further updates if needed.

If you are running out of a medicine:

  • If your GP hasn't sent us an NHS prescription yet: you can contact them directly and ask them to send it as a "one-off nomination" to a local pharmacy.

  • If we already have your NHS prescription: we may be able to send it back to the NHS database for a local pharmacy to dispense. Visit your account area and look for "I need my medicine sooner". It can take up to 2 hours for this to show on your account after a prescription arrives.

  • You can call NHS 111 to request an emergency supply of a medicine from a local pharmacy if you need it.

  • For anything else: please contact our Customer Care team.

We are closely monitoring the situation - your safety is always our first priority.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Care team as above.

Thank you for your understanding.
