Frequently asked questions
As well as ordering your NHS prescriptions, you can now use our Online Doctor service and access our Health & Wellness shop. We’ve put everything all in one place in our new app. This includes access to our Carer’s Account feature, so you can manage, order and track NHS prescriptions for your loved ones or people you care for.
You can also access the rest of the Pharmacy2U Universe, including NHS Services, Pharmacy First, Pharmacy Contraception Service, Health Hub and Pet Health via the app, all of which will open on your web browser.
You can now log in using biometrics like Face ID and Fingerprint, allowing for greater security. You can even access our customer service hub and live chat in app, while real-time expected dispatch and delivery tracking information are available too.
The way you place your NHS prescription orders in the app has changed to make it easier for you. Once you have registered or logged in on the app, just select the Prescriptions tab at the bottom of the screen.
You can then add new prescription medications to your account or add existing prescription medications to your basket ready to checkout. Your prescriptions will go to your GP for approval before being dispensed, dispatched, and delivered for free.
You just need to make sure you have a payment method or medical exemption certificate added to your account before you check out.
Yes, you will be able to view your full order history and track any current orders due to be delivered in the new app.
Yes, you can log in using your existing Pharmacy2U account details. Your username is your email address.
The Pharmacy2U App can be downloaded and used on iPhone and iPad running iOS version 14 or later, and on Android devices running version 7 or later.
To keep you safe online, you will be asked to log in with your username and password again after one hour has lapsed since you last logged in.
However, once you’ve logged in to your account on the Pharmacy2U app, you can go to Account and then to Security to enable biometric log in with Face ID, Fingerprint, Iris ID, or Pin, depending on your preference or device capabilities..
