Who can and cannot use medicines containing Diprosone cream?

Avoid applying Diprosone cream if: 

  • You are allergic to betamethasone dipropionate or any other ingredients of this medicine 

  • You have any other skin condition, as it may exacerbate the issue, particularly in the case of rosacea (a facial skin condition), acne, dermatitis around the mouth, genital itching, nappy rash, cold sores, chickenpox, shingles, or other skin infections. If uncertain, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist

What should I do if my eczema comes back?

In the event of a recurrence shortly after stopping treatment (within 2 weeks), refrain from restarting the cream without consulting your prescriber unless specifically advised to do so. If the condition has resolved and recurrence involves redness extending beyond the initial treatment area with a burning sensation, seek medical advice before resuming treatment.
