What is Healthy Heart Check by PocDoc

Healthy Heart Check by PocDoc is an at home self-test that only takes 10 minutes to complete that is being used widely across the UK in pharmacies and even the NHS. As part of our Healthy Hearts Programme, we are currently offering the kits for free to support patients’ understanding of their heart health, aligned to NHS plans for preventative healthcare around cardiovascular disease. This unique test uses a microfluidic test alongside your smartphone and a small prick of blood to give you an NHS equivalent cardiovascular screening without the need to see a GP.

This test includes: Full Cholesterol Panel as with a laboratory test, compared to NHS guidelines, your official NHS Heart Age, your Heart Health risk factors, compared to NHS guidelines and your BMI.

Together with the self-test kit, you will get access to advice and guidance on maintaining heart health as part of an 8-week programme, together with an optional call with one of our pharmacists.

How to use Healthy Heart Check by PocDoc

Simply collect a small finger prick of blood.
Apply the blood to the PocDoc lateral flow test
Download the free PocDoc Pro app and follow the steps.
The app then will analyse the test.
Wait 8 minutes to be able to review your results.
You then have the option to discuss your results in further detail with a Pharmacy2U pharmacist.
