Frequently asked questions
Our Online Doctor service is available to all adults aged 18 and over. The clinician will determine your suitability for the various treatments available on a case-by-case basis, depending on you, your health, and the condition you’re seeking treatment for.
Our Online Doctor service is designed to give you convenient access to the healthcare you need, when you need it. Your online consultation will take you a few minutes to complete and can be done at a time that suits you. It will then be reviewed by one of our experienced clinicians within 24 hours. You’ll receive a notification in your account to inform you of their decision. If approved, your preferred treatment will be dispensed and dispatched by Pharmacy2U within 24 hours, ready for next-day Tracked delivery.
In total, the service should take no longer than 3 working days from consultation to delivery. It can often be even quicker than this. We’ll notify you of any updates to our processing times around public holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
No, your consultation is offered free of charge. You’ll only pay for the prescription medicine you have chosen or been recommended by our clinician. If you choose not to proceed with the treatment approved by the clinician, or if the clinician determines that we can’t issue a safe and suitable treatment, you will not be charged.
Yes, you can. As part of your consultation, you’ll be shown the treatments available for the condition in question and asked to specify if you have a preference. The clinician will then determine if your preferred treatment is suitable, based on the information you provide about you and your health. If they consider it clinically appropriate, they will approve your chosen treatment ready for the medicine to be dispensed and dispatched.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a particular treatment in mind. During your online consultation, you can select the option to receive our clinician’s treatment recommendation, and they’ll advise the best treatment for you based on the information you’ve provided.
If you don’t see the treatment option you were looking for within our selection, we recommend choosing the option to receive a treatment recommendation from one of our experienced clinicians. They can advise which medicine could work best for you based on the information you’ve provided during your consultation.
The clinician will send a secure message directly to you through your Online Doctor account. You’ll then be able to reply to them using a direct message from your account. Please note that you have seven days to reply to a message from the doctor. If you do not reply within the seven days your consultation will be closed.
Your secure personal health dashboard will house all messages and communication from your clinician. This includes treatment approvals, recommended alternatives, and any questions they might have for you before issuing your treatment.
Requesting a repeat treatment is simple. Just log into your Online Doctor account to view your order history. Find the medicine you’d like to re-request and select ‘re-order’. You’ll need to review the information you submitted previously and inform the clinician of any changes. They’ll then review your request and if everything’s ok, approve your order ready to be dispensed and dispatched.
Yes, you can complete a consultation for each condition you’re seeking help for. Subject to the clinical outcome of each consultation, your agreed treatments will be shown as separate orders in your personal health dashboard.
Our Online Doctor service is designed to offer you safe, high-quality care that’s both convenient and clinically robust. Depending on the condition you're seeking treatment for and the consultation programme in use, we work in partnership with trusted third-party healthcare providers to deliver the service.
While Pharmacy2U facilitates the process, your consultation and treatment are provided directly by a dedicated team of registered clinicians. This separation ensures that prescribing decisions are made independently and in your best interest, in line with healthcare regulations.

My account
By creating an account, we can safely store your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It also enables you to message your clinician securely and for them to respond. Requesting a repeat treatment is also made easier as your information will be ready and waiting for you to review and confirm if anything’s changed.
To access your personal health dashboard, simply use the email address and password you first used to set up your Online Doctor account. If you’ve not used Online Doctor before but you use Pharmacy2U to manage your NHS repeat prescriptions, you can log in using these details when you’ve completed an online consultation.
You can manage your personal details all in one place through your personal health dashboard. Simply log in and visit the ‘Account’ area through your dashboard. Under ‘login details’, choose to update your password and save your changes.
You can only create an account online by following the steps on our website. We provide you with key information throughout the registration process, and the best way to do this is online. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to create an account by calling us, but we’ve made our online registration process as simple as possible, so you can create your account at a time that suits you.

Learn more about PayPal Pay in 3, including full terms and conditions.
Payment will be taken at checkout, once your treatment option has been approved by our clinician. It will show on your statement as Pharmacy2U Ltd.
