If your exemption has expired but you have another valid exemption, you can update your details by logging into your account, clicking Account, and then clicking Payments and Exemptions. If you're already logged in, you can click here.
If you declare that you’re exempt from NHS prescription charges, it’s important that the information you provide is accurate. The NHS routinely checks exemption claims to prevent fraud or error, and patients who claim free prescriptions incorrectly may receive a penalty charge.
