How is my medication delivered?
Updated
Your medication is delivered free of charge by Royal Mail in discreet, plain packaging. Delivery is designed to be flexible so you don’t need to wait in, and we can deliver to any address in the UK. We dispense NHS England prescriptions and private prescriptions written by an EU‑registered GP or consultant.
How your delivery is handled
Letterbox‑friendly, whenever possible. We aim to send your medication in packaging that fits through your letterbox (with your consent).
Safe place options. Providing Royal Mail consider it suitable/safe, you can add a safe place preference to your account, for larger items.
No need to sign for most deliveries. Most medication is sent using standard Royal Mail services that don’t require a signature.
Exceptions that follow different delivery rules
Controlled drugs must be sent using a tracked service and will require a signature on delivery.
Refridgerated items (such as insulin) are sent in temperature‑controlled packaging to keep them between 2°C and 8°C throughout transit.
