Regaine Foam is a hair loss treatment which contains the active ingredient of Minoxidil. The Regaine Foam contains the same strength of 5% Minoxidil as the traditional Regaine Extra Strength. Regaine Foam is for men who suffer from general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp. Minoxidil foam is not intended for full baldness or receding hairlines. Regaine Foam comes in a handy aerosol spray can and has the same consistency as a shaving cream.

Regaine Foam can be applied directly on to the scalp so that it is as effective as the Regaine Extra Strength lotion, but it has added advantages - it dries more quickly and is less messy than Regaine Extra Strength, and it has been formulated differently to make it less likely to irritate the scalp.

Minoxidil

Minoxidil is the active ingredient contained in Regaine and has extensively been tested and researched for its effectiveness in treating hereditary hair loss. Scientists believe it works by helping the blood flow to the hair follicle, stimulating and prolonging hair growth. Regaine has been shown to help prevent further hair loss in 4 out of 5 men and helps stimulate regrowth for a thicker, fuller head of hair.

Application

Hold the can of Regaine Foam upside down and press the nozzle to release the foam onto your fingers. Gently apply the foam on your scalp and massage throughout the affected area. Wash your hands. Please read the enclosed booklet before using.

Results

During the first few weeks a temporary increase of hair shedding may be encountered, however this is quite normal, and is a positive a sign that the hairs are starting a new growth cycle. When your new hair starts to regrow you will find it to be very soft and colourless. By using the Regaine Foam regularly your hair will become the same thickness and colour.
