What is Rhinolast nasal spray?
Rhinolast nasal spray contains azelastine hydrochloride in a strength of 0.1%. This is an antihistamine that helps to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (when the inside of the nose becomes inflamed because of an allergy, such as hay fever). If necessary, it can be used alongside any oral antihistamine you may also be taking.
Perennial allergic rhinitis (which is like hay fever, but all year round) can also be treated with Rhinolast.
How to use Rhinolast nasal spray
Before using Rhinolast nasal spray, ensure you have read the enclosed leaflet carefully.
In adults and children over five years old, the recommended dose for treating allergic rhinitis is one spray in each nostril, twice a day.
You'll find that the Rhinolast nasal spray will work very efficiently, usually within a few minutes of being taken. The effects of the spray will last around 12 hours. However, it could take a few days of regular treatment before you’ll notice the full benefit.

Is Rhinolast nasal spray suitable for me?
Like all treatments, there may be particular circumstances or situations when the use of Rhinolast nasal spray may not be recommended, or where your doctor will advise you use it with caution. For example, in women who are breastfeeding or pregnant, or young children under the age of five.Rhinolast will not be suitable if you are allergic to azelastine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.
