Despite major medical advances, HIV and AIDS continue to claim lives across the world.

Held each year on December 1, World AIDS Day is an initiative that encourages people to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV,  and commemorate those people who have died.

Treatments are now available which mean that HIV doesn’t have to be life-limiting so it’s really important to get yourself tested if you think you might be at risk.
