Private Online Doctor is also part of the Pharmacy2U family. It offers our patients access to relevant prescription medicines via a private online GP consultation. Its aim is to assist those patients with specific needs across a broad range conditions.

Role Purpose

Reporting suite is hosted across both Tableau & SSRS utilising the Enterprise Datawarehouse (EDW) which is feeding from several independent Pharmacy2U/Chemist Direct production databases and regularly utilising external third-party sources.

This role is best suited for a candidate looking to take ownership of the timely, accurate & relevant delivery of business reporting. Ability to follow through business transactional/operational journeys through dataflows with attention to detail crucial to identify areas of opportunity/concern.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities

Work alongside Head of Reporting in the development and maintenance of the Pharmacy2U (POD)/ChemistDirect (OTC) reporting suite.

  • Assist with the creation of new MI reporting in both Tableau & SSRS.
  • Collaborate with stake holders and colleagues to ensure reports are efficient and effective both technically and conceptually.
  • Ensure accuracy and identify improvements in existing reports.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from colleagues and the Exec.
  • Ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance is applied to all analysis and reporting.

Work alongside Head of BI in the continuous improvement of a rapidly expanding Enterprise Datawarehouse.

  • Ensuring and validating accuracy in the existing EDW.
  • Highlighting fields in the prod systems to be added to the EDW.

Continuous improvement and expansion.

  • Strive to provide the best insight we can into Pharmacy2U/ChemistDirect performance and outcomes in the smartest and most effective ways possible.

Knowledge, skills and experience required for role


  • Experience of Tableau or a similar visualiser
  • SQL / T-SQL experience
  • Experience using SSMS & SSRS.
  • Considerable experience with MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • The ability to take full responsibility for a range of datasources, processes and stake holder delivery
  • A keen eye for accuracy, a desire to deliver reliability and keep up with a highly motivated team


  • Experience in e-commerce environment
  • Experience in a fast pace environment


  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above
  • Ability to use Excel at an intermediate level
