Role Purpose

To support our internal business functions In Learning and Development.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities

  • Providing strong Administration support
  • Contribute to L&D related projects
  • Administration of e-learning for new starters; and coordination of periodic refreshers
  • Maintaining an accurate central record of training related data.
  • Assist and support the wider L&D team as required by senior management
  • Maintain L&D systems as requested by L&D Manager
  • Maintain relevant policies and procedures relating to e-learning, ensuring they are up to date and in line with latest legislation
  • Create and maintain documentation of L&D processes and procedures
  • Ensure quality is maintained when entering data onto Learning Management System and other L&D databases
  • Monitoring training attendance across the firm
  • Producing documents using Microsoft applications as required/requested
  • Answering phones and dealing with enquiries where possible
  • Maintain Learning and Development email account dealing with enquiries where possible
  • Any other reasonable request from management

Knowledge, skills and experience required for role


  • Numerate
  • Microsoft packages
  • IT literate
  • Demonstrate drive, initiative and proactivity in role
  • Proven ability to work both as part of a bigger team and individually
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and workload
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)


  • Desirable – Working in an administration role within L&D
  • Dealing with people face to face and remotely
  • Working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines


  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above
  • Desirable - Knowledge of L&D processes
