Role – Copywriter

Location – Hybrid working with 2-3 days at our head office based at Thorpe Park, Leeds

Salary – £30,000 - £35,000 per annum pro rata Part Time

Hours - 32 hours per week (4 days) will be flexible for the right candidate

We’re looking for a best-in-class Digital Copywriter to join the Brand Team at the UK’s largest online pharmacy. You’ll work with the Brand Manager to refine our tone of voice, develop brand and campaign messaging and support marketing channel owners to deliver stand-out copy.


  • Refine our tone of voice across both our brands so it can be tailored to different B2B and B2C audience types
  • Write short and long form copy across the full marketing mix from social and email to UX, SEO articles and PPC copy to deliver against campaign deliverables
  • Adapt your creative style depending on the user intent, channel, and audience
  • Work with the Brand Manager to define the brand and campaign key messages that will be disseminated through toolkits across all marketing teams to deliver effective communications
  • Know how to add value to the CX using the power of copy
  • Write creatively in ad copy whilst delivering clear, transparent, and educational in transactional copy
  • Brief freelancers on copy projects from time to time
  • You’ll use our CMS to upload signed off copy to our websites


  • Skilled at writing creative short and long form copy including the ability to write for different audiences, user intent and channel
  • Fantastic attention-to-detail, including the ability to proofread your own and others' work.
  • Great at communicating complex information in simple terms (plain English)
  • Research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of the subject in question
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of SEO and an understanding of digital marketing – this is essential
  • Experience of content management systems, ideally Umbraco
  • 4+ years in a digital copywriting role, ideally in healthcare
  • A degree in English language or similar
