February is Heart Month, an initiative led by the British Heart Foundation and aimed at encouraging people to take steps to look after their health.
The campaign is encouraging everyone to make small changes towards a healthier lifestyle. Exercising, eating healthily and giving up smoking are just some of the things that you can do to look after your heart, as well as improve your overall health.
Your doctor or practice nurse can help and advise you on how to make these changes safely.
