<p>Otrivine Child Nasal Drops contain the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride which helps to open up and clear the nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal secretions and reduces swollen blood vessels to their normal size. <h3>How to use Otrivine Child Nasal Drops?</h3>
<p>For full instructions see enclosed leaflet.</p>
<ul>
<li>Dosage for Children aged 6-12 years: 1 or 2 drops of solution in each nostril once or twice daily.</li>
<li>Not more than 2 doses should be given in any 24 hours.</li>
<li>Not to be used for more than 5 days without the advice of a doctor.</li>
<li>Parents or carers should seek medical attention if the childs condition worsens.</li>
<li>For reasons of hygiene do not use this bottle more than 28 days after first opening it.</li>
<li>Each Otrivine pack should be used by one person only to prevent any cross infection.</li>
<li>Protect from heat.</li>
<li>Do not use after the expiry date given.</li>

<h3>Precautions to consider before using Otrivine Child Nasal Drops</h3>
<p>Not to be used in children under 6 years of age. If your child is taking other medicines, or is under a doctors care consult your doctor before using Otrivine. Expectant mothers should consult their doctor before using Otrivine for themselves Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use continuously for more than five consecutive days. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Warning: Do not exceed the stated dose. Sealed cap. Do not use if seal is absent or broken.
