If you don't pay for your NHS prescriptions, you may be issued with proof of the exemption. Some of these reasons are time-limited. However, for some there is no expiry date. If this is the case, you'll receive a notification on your account, but we'll still honour your exemption until advised otherwise. It is your responsibility to inform us of any change of circumstances.
