Tixylix Honey, Lemon and Glycerol Oral Solution is formulated to soothe and relieve the symptoms of children's coughs and sore throats.
Doses may be given by mouth up to 3 or 4 times a day, if needed. A measuring spoon is provided with the medicine to make it easy for you to give the correct dose. Do not give to children under 1 year. 1 year to 5 years - one 2.5ml spoonful. 5 years to 12 tears - one 5ml spoonful. Over 12 years - two 5ml spoonfuls. You can help by keeping your child warm, giving them plenty of fluids, and making sure the bedroom is well ventilated, but not cold or draughty.
Each 5ml Contains: Glycerol 0.75ml, Honey 1.11g (0.4g as Glucose), Liquid Sugar (Sucrose) 2.2ml, Purified Water, Citric Acid, Benzoic Acid (E210), Lemon Oil, Distilled Lime Oil and Terpeneless Lemon Oil.
Read the Instructions on the carton before use. Check cap seal on the bottle is not broken before first use. If it is, do not take the medicine. Use by the date shown on the carton and label. If symptoms do not go away, talk to a pharmacist or doctor. If you take take/give too much of this medicine, talk to your doctor. This medicine is not expected to cause any side effects, but if you notice any side effect, please tell a pharmacist or doctor. Do not take this medicine if you allergic to any of the ingredients. Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
