This Pack contains one Canesten Oral Capsule and one 10g tube of Canesten Thrush Cream. The capsule is an effective single dose treatment for vaginal thrush or penile thrush. The cream provides soothing relief from the external itching and soreness caused by the infection in women and men.
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water (with or without food). The cream should only be used externally. Apply thinly and evenly over the affected area 2 or 3 times daily and rub in gently. Treatment should be continued until the symptoms disappear, or up to 1 week in women and up to 2 weeks in men.
Capsule contains Fluconazole 150mg. Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate and sodium lauryl sulphate. Cream contains Clotrimazole 200mg (2% w/w). It also contains benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purified water.
Do not use if you are pregnant, trying for a baby or breast-feeding. Consult your doctor or a pharmacist before use if you are taking any medication other than the contraceptive pill, if you are aged under 16 or over 60 or you have had more than two infections of vaginal thrush in the last six months. Always read the label.
