Meso- Zeaxanthin - Meso Zeaxanthin is not found in a typical diet (although it is found in unusual foods, such as shrimps and oysters), but is uniquely important for macular health. The body normally converts lutein to meso-zeaxanthin in the retina. Meso-zeaxanthin is only found at the centre of the macula, where vision is sharpest. Its presence results in the filtration of a wider range of damaging blue light and also acts as a powerful antioxidant at the macula.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin - Found in green leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale, lutein and zeaxanthin are also antioxidants and are capable of filtering blue light.
Take one soft gel capsule daily, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed stated dose.
