Imodium Capsules can stop diarrhoea with one dose, quickly and effectively.. Imodium can be used to treat episodes of diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) after your doctor has diagnosed you are suffering from this condition.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2 Imodium capsules initially, followed, if required by one capsule after each loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 8 per day. Imodium is not recommended for children under 12 years.

Each Imodium capsule contains Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg.
While symptoms persist, fluid and electrolyte replacement is necesssary, particularly in the frail and elderly. Initial diagnosis by doctor required.
