HC45 works by altering the bodys response to inflammatory reactions. It is an effective treatment that reduces inflammation and relieves itching and irritation for up to 12 hours. Adults and children 10 years and over: apply sparingly to a small area 1-2 times daily for a maximum of 7 days. Not recommended under 10 years except on medical advice.

Smooth, white cream containing: Hydrocortisone acetate 1% w/w.
All hydrocortisones are to be used only for contact dermatitis from allergies or irritants, and for skin reactions to insect bites and stings. They should be use sparingly over a small area, once or twice a day for a maximum of seven days. They should not be used on the eyes or face, genital areas, or on broken or infected skin including impetigo, cold sores, acne or athlete's foot.
