Dulcobalance works naturally with your body to gently and effectively relieve constipation. It works only at the site of the problem, in the bowel, by a hydrating action to reactivate your normal rhythm. Dulcobalance is not absorbed into the body, and as it contains only a small amount of sugar it is suitable for diabetics. The powder completely dissolves in a glass of water and does not thicken.
For adults and children 8 years and over: Take 1 to 2 sachets each day dissolved in a glass of water. Drink the whole contents of the glass.
Each sachet of powder for solution contains 10g Macrogol 4000. Also contains Sorbitol (E420).
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms worsen or do not improve within 7 days of treatment. Do not take if you are: Allergic to any of the ingredients, intolerant to a small quantity of sugar (sorbitol, fructose), or suffering from stomach pain, ileus, blocked bowel (such as toxic megacolon), perforation, or inflammation of the bowel such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn?s disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the base of the pack. Read the enclosed leaflet for further information.
