For the treatment of cold sores (herpes simplex) of the lips and face. Clinical studies show that early treatment (at the tingle phase)with Zovirax can stop a cold sore appearing. If your cold sore has already appeared then treatment with Zovirax can speed up the healing process. Easy rub-in formula.
Adults and children: apply 5 times daily for 5 days starting during the tingle phase. If healing has not occurred continue for a further 5 days. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
Smooth , white cream containing: Aciclovir 5%.
For external use only. Do not aply to the inside of the mouth, the eye or for herpes infections of genital areas.
