Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream is a complete treatment for vaginal thrush because it treats both the internal cause and external symptoms. This pack contains a pessary to treat the cause of vaginal thrush and a tube of soothing cream to relieve the itching.
Adults (ages 16 to 60): 1 pessary inserted into the vagina at night. The cream to be applied thinly 2 or 3 times daily to the affected area.
The pessary contains Clotrimazole 500mg. It also contains lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, lactic acid, maize starch, crospovidone, calcium lactate pentahydrate, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica and hypromellose. The 10g tube of cream contains Clotrimazole 200mg (2% w/w). It also contains sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol and purified water.
Do not use and see your doctor if; you are pregnant, or trying to become pregnant, you have had more than two episodes of vaginal thrush in the last 6 months or you or your partner has previously had a sexually transmitted disease. Always read the label.
