Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension Sachets are for oral use and will relieve pain and feverishness. It is suitable for children one to six years.
Children: 1-6 years 5-10ml every 4 hours up to 4 times in 24 hrs. 3mths-1 year 2.5-5ml every 4 hours up to 4 times in 24 hrs. Infants under 3 months, a single 2.5ml for babies who develop a fever following vaccination at 2 months, otherwise consult doctor. The dosages for children's paracetamol liquids are in the process of being updated, and our website will be updated with the details once the new packaging is in place. In the meantime, always follow the instructions in the product leaflet and on the box, and contact us if you need any advice.
Active ingredient per 5ml is 120g Paracetamol. Also contains: Maltitol Liquid, Glycerol, Polysorbate 80, Sorbitol Solution (E420), Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Dispersible Cellulose, Xanthan Gum and Purified Water. The flavouring is strawberry and the colouring is Carmoisine (E122).
Do not exceed stated dose. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of overdose, even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed serious liver damage. Do not take with other products containing paracetamol. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
Side effects with paracetamol are rare but should you experience skin rash or other side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist.
