Tips for reducing the effects of migraines

by Pharmacy2U 19. July 2010 23:46

If you suffer from migraine there are steps you can take to minimise the effects:

Take immediate action

As soon as you recognise the signs of an imminent migraine take action. Migraine treatment such as Imigran can help you to tackle the symptoms quickly and effectively. By responding rapidly you can cut down the severity and length of the attack. If at work don't be tempted to 'tough it out'. Symptoms such as nausea and severe pain can leave you stranded unable to get home under your own steam.

Listen to your body

There are many tips to help the symptoms of migraine but listen to your body and if you feel worse desist.

Stop and lie down

When a migraine starts stop your work or activity and find somewhere to lie down to rest. It's best to go home and take to your bed. Keep the room cool and dark and minimise any noise.

A migraine can often present itself like a sensory overload. Smells, light, noise and heat can all make you more uncomfortable and heighten pain. By minimising the sensory irritants you will recover faster.

Take migraine medication

You can get migraine medicine from your online pharmacy and treatments such as Imigran can be very effective at reducing pain and the associated symptoms of nausea.

At Pharmacy2U we have a range of migraine treatments to help with the symptoms so that you can manage the attacks and keep your life on track.

Beware of counterfeit drugs

by Pharmacy2U 15. July 2010 23:42

In today's markets you always have to be aware of cheap, fake pills that are sold as offering the same wonderful benefits as Viagra and other leading brands that combat erectile dysfunction such as Cialis and Levitra. With the huge success of Viagra in alleviating millions of men's problems with impotency it is no surprise that there are hundreds of companies out there all wanting a slice of the market offering cheap imitations of Viagra pills. Statistically, an average of nine Viagra pills are handed out each second worldwide and this is a market that many companies want to be part of.

However you must be wary of counterfeit drugs and it is often younger men in their teens and early twenties that fall prey to this type of mis-selling. Curiosity can lead men to seek out bogus local dealers or to use illegitimate sources in their desire to cure their problem quickly and discreetly. This is a dangerous way of getting medication as these counterfeit drugs not only have little of the active ingredients required, but may also include harmful substances that have been known to be fatal in some cases.

A genuine Viagra tablet can be recognised by a distinctive diamond shaped, blue tablet. Pfizer will be imprinted on one side and the strength will be shown on the other. To be sure you have the genuine tablet make sure they have these specifications and look for a reputable internet chemist such as Pharmacy2U. At Pharmacy2U we offer all the leading brands and offer a discreet and efficient service to all our customers.

Nurture your mane

by Pharmacy2U 13. July 2010 23:37

Hair can influence our looks dramatically and therefore should be given the care and respect due to them rather than just an occasional application of conditioner. Lots of men will largely take their hair for granted and do little to ensure its health and maintenance. It is only when the tell tale signs of hair loss in men start to become noticeable that we start to react.

Hair must be nurtured and groomed to keep it thick, healthy and flowing. Most of us will step out of the shower, rub our heads roughly with a towel until our hair is partly dry and then blast it with a hair dryer to finish it off. You may not give this routine a second thought but it can be very damaging to your mane of hair and over time damage to the hair cuticles, breakage along the air strands and split ends can leave your hair looking unhealthy.

To care for your hair properly pat it dry gently and before you start to dry your hair with a hot hair dryer, use some thermal spray to protect it. Never ignore hair loss. Although most cases of hair loss can be attributed to normal shedding hair loss can also be an indication of an underlying health problem or indeed the beginning of male pattern hair loss.

If you are suffering from the latter then Nourkrin Man can help to slow down the hair loss and stimulate new hair growth. At Pharmacy2U we are a reputable online pharmacy offering Nourkrin, Regaine, Revivogen and other products to tackle hair loss.

What can you expect from Viagra?

by Pharmacy2U 9. July 2010 23:33

There are many fantastical tales about Viagra tablets which can lead to a variety of expectations for different people. It can seem like this 'wonder tablet' has truly magical results but as with all good things its best to keep a level head and to keep expectations realistic so as not to be disappointed.

Viagra is one of the tablets available on the market to combat erectile dysfunction. Others include Levitra and Cialis. When taking Viagra you should plan to take the tablets 30 minutes to one hour before you will have intercourse. This gives Viagra ample time to become effective. Once the tablet takes effect you will normally be able to engage in intercourse for up to four hours.

Viagra can not perform miracles and you will need to ensure that the rest of you is fully aroused for it to do its work. Once you are aroused it will keep the blood supply flowing and once it has helped you get an erection it will make sure you maintain it.

In terms of side effects there are few severe consequences to taking this drug. However you should be prepared for some of the milder side effects that can affect some people. Later in the day you may experience a slight blurring or impairment of vision. This should pass quickly. Other possible side effects are mild nausea, stomach upset and mild headaches.

At Pharmacy2U we offer a range of drugs to combat the effects of erectile dysfunction.

Will Viagra cause infertility?

by Pharmacy2U 7. July 2010 23:29

As with all medications there can be fears that taking Viagra can have side effects. One of the most common fears is that it will cause infertility. Many men when suffering form erectile dysfunction may be put off from taking Viagra tablets due to such concerns. This has been fuelled by rumours that some lubricants can hinder or kill sperm preventing pregnancy. However the manufacturers of Viagra have confirmed that these blue pills will not prevent conception and have in fact helped millions of men across the globe combat impotence and go on to become fathers.

However there have been some studies that show Viagra may reduce fertility in a small percentage of men. The results indicate that Viagra could limit the possibility of sperm penetrating the ovum as the medication can in some cases cause the enzyme that enables the sperm to penetrate the egg to release too soon. However these results are not conclusive as they are based solely on trials carried out on animals and there has been no watertight proof discovered to say the same applies for humans.

In fact, Viagra has actually aided many men worldwide to overcome the physical inability to have an erection and maintain it therefore giving men back their potency. This prescription drug is generally safe for use but if you have any concerns then talk to your doctor.

At internet chemist Pharmacy2U we offer a range of drugs that can help erectile dysfunction and can offer advice on your health issues.

Diagnosing Male Pattern Hair Loss

by Pharmacy2U 5. July 2010 23:22

A raised level of DiHydroTestosterone (DHT) in men can lead to what is known as Male Pattern Hair Loss (MPHL). There is a particular pattern to this form of hair loss which characterises it from other forms. MPHL can be identified by hair loss that starts at the hairline and recedes slowly along with a thinning and eventual loss of hair at the crown. Eventually it is typical for MHPL to progress to the point where there is only a horse shoe shaped covering of fine hair around the side of the head.

Normally, this type of hair loss is diagnosed quickly and correctly and can usually be treated with medicines found in a pharmacy. However there may be occasions when a skin biopsy or hair analysis is carried out in order to rule out other possible causes of hair loss. In the main this will be unnecessary as the set pattern of hair loss is so distinctive.

In typical cases the hair begins to thin and the hairline recedes in a shape that resembles the letter 'M'. If you suspect that you have MPHL but also suffer from itching, scaly patches of skin, reddening, hair breakage or indeed pain you will need to see your doctor to get diagnosed as these symptoms do not relate to this type of hair loss and can indicate another underlying medical condition.

MPHL can be easily treated with both oral tablets or topical hair loss treatment such as Rogaine Foam. Treatment with this type of medication containing Minoxidil can help to slow down hair loss and stimulate new growth. At Pharmacy2U we offer a range of hair loss treatments.
