Anusol Plus HC Ointment contains Hydrocortisone which reduces inflammation, and therefore eases the pain and discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles). It also contains the active ingredients which soothe the itch and irritation associated with haemorrhoids.
For anal application. Adults over 18 years: Thoroughly cleanse the affected area, dry, and apply ointment on a gauze dressing. Use sparingly at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement up to 4 applications per day. For internal conditions use the rectal nozzle provided and clean after each use. Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days. Children (under 18 years): Not recommended. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
Active ingredients (%w/w): Hydrocortisone acetate 0.25, Bismuth Oxide 0.875, Zinc Oxide 10.75, Bismuth Subgallate 2.25, Balsam Peru 1.875, Benzyl Benzoate 1.25. Other ingredients: petroleum jelly, calcium hydrogen phosphate, anhydrous lanolin, cocoa butter, castor oil, light kaolin, magnesium stearate.
