By the time you notice fleas on your pet there is already an infestation of pre-adult fleas in your home. These are not affected by treatment applied to your pet, so your home must be treated to eliminate them. Acclaim Household Flea Spray contains Precor, a long acting insect growth regulator which prevents flea eggs and larvae from maturing into adults - this breaks the flea life cycle and gives your home continuous protection for 12 months when used as directed. It also contains an insecticide which will kill any adult fleas which may continue to hatch in the first weeks following the treatment. The short-acting insecticide will also kill ants, cockroaches, ticks, earwigs, silverfish, other bristle tails, centipedes, spiders and beetles. Your can of Acclaim Household Flea Spray will treat an area equivalent to and entire 4 bedroom house. It is very important that you treat the entire house and use sufficient product.
Remove pets and birds and cover fish aquariums before spraying. Shake the can well before use. Hold the can upside down, pointing away from your body. Using a sweeping motion, apply a fine spray uniformly to carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture and in cracks and crevices in the floor from a distance of about half a meter. Avoid wetting furniture and carpeting and do not over-apply to polished wood surfaces as spotting may occur. Leave the room and wait half an hour before airing. Acclaim Household Flea Spray leaves no bad odour, no sticky residue and will not stain soft furnishings.

Protect from sunlight and do not expose to high temperatures. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on or near a naked flame, or any incandescent material. For use only as an insecticide. For indoor use only. Do not apply to clothing or human bedding. 100ml of product will treat approximately 35 square meters of surface. Do not breathe spray mist. Cover food, food preparation equipment and eating utensils before application. Do not apply to surfaces on which food is stored, prepared or eaten. Extremely dangerous to fish and other aquatic life. Remove or cover fish tanks and bowls before application. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Do not apply directly to animals. Exclude animals during application. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. The control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulation 1994 may apply to the use of this product at work.
