AAA Sore Throat Spray gives direct relief from the symptoms associated with sore throats and minor infections. AAA Sore Throat Spray contains benzoaine, which is a local anaesthetic. This means that it relieves pain by acting on the surface of the area treated.
Raise nozzle to horizontal position. Holding, head upright, insert nozzle well into the mouth, pressing the plunger once delivers a single metered dose. Adults, including the elderly: Spray 2 doses every two to three hours to the affected area as necessary but not more than 16 doses in 24 hours. Children aged 6-12 years: Spray one dose to the affected area every two to three hours as necessary but not more than 8 doses in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under the age of 6.
1.5 mg Benzocaine BP
Also contains:Cetyl pyridinium chloride, glycerin, ethanol, clove bud oil, menthol, saccharin sodium, peppermint, cremophor (polyethoxylated castor oil) and purified water.
If symptoms persist consult your doctor. This spray should not be used for more than seven consecutive days unless directed by a doctor. Avoid spraying into the eyes or inhaling the spray. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to benzocaine or taking sulphonamides. Check with your doctor before using this spray if pain in the throat is severe or persistent or you have a headache or fever. Do not use during pregnancy or breast feeding unless directed by a doctor.
